Your Everyday Plastics

Recycling Container Number 5 LabelMost if not all consumers have noticed a small engraving on the bottom of our plastic water bottles, soda bottles, even some of our soap and shampoo bottles have it. If you have ever wondered what this small “recycle” triangle which usually contains a number within the triangle was representative of, the answer is actually the type of plastic your container is made of.

There are a total of 7 different types of plastic, some of which are actually not recyclable. The three main types of plastic we will focus on today are going to be those of which are used in our everyday lives. The three major types of plastic are {1} PETE or Medicine Bottles, Med bottles, medicine containers, odor free containers, shampoo bottles, plastic bottles, water bottles, recycling plastic PET also known as Polyethylene Terephthalate which consist of items such as; beverage bottles, medicine jars, peanut butter jars, combs, bean bags, and rope. Plastic type number {2} is known as an HDPE or High-Density Polyethylene and those items include; containers for milk, motor oil, shampoos and conditioners, soap bottles, detergents, and bleaches. Last but not least the most common type of plastic and also the plastic which our popular Vials are made from are known as {5} or PP plastic. This type of plastic includes the following items; tupperware, margarine containers, yogurt boxes, syrup bottles, prescription bottles, and some stadium cups. The reason we chose to go with {5} PP plastic is because of the strong plastic molecules and the plastic is also known to withstand very high temperatures.

VialsOnDemand only uses {5} PP Plastic material in manufacturing our pop top vials, reversible cap bottles, along with any of our smaller plastic containers. We know the importance of keeping your medication stored in a convenient yet safe container which does not bleed nor does it transfer any plastic odor to your medications. Along with being free of any plastic odors our pop top vials are made from very strong plastic and therefore you can assure your medications are safe from any accidental drops or mishandling of your containers. Feel Free to visit our site to see a variety of colors we have available in our pop top vials as well as reversible caps.  Do you have any preference as to what type of containers or bottles you get when you go into your favorite pharmacy? Feel free to leave us a comment and give us your feedback and maybe even recommendations as to what other types of containers you would like to see in the market.pop top vials, medicine containers, medicine vials, medicinal vials, medicine jars
